Steps
Method 1 of 3: Showing You Are Really Sick

Step 1. Show and explain your symptoms
If you're sick but your parents don't believe you, the best way to convince them is to show how bad you are. By being direct about your symptoms, you show that you have nothing to hide and must earn their trust. Don't try to get too much empathy, just get their attention.
For example, if you got up at dawn to vomit, say that

Step 2. Don't make "sick voice"
It can be tempting to make your symptoms worse to convince your parents, and it may even work in some cases, but if it doesn't, your parents will doubt all other symptoms. Always be sincere, without exaggerating anything.
For example, don't try to turn a sore throat into something more serious. If you're having trouble swallowing, tell your parents about it. Since you must be eating less, they will probably believe you

Step 3. Speak confidently and clearly
If your parents are hard to convince, they will try to get you to fumble and give in that you're lying. If you think you're sick enough to miss a specific event, stick with it. If they see that you're not going to give up and that you're sticking with what you say, it increases your chances of success.
If you don't want to participate in a family event, for example, say that not only is it unwell, but that you prefer not to pass the disease on to anyone. If you're contagious, your parents should understand
Method 2 of 3: Faking Nausea and Vomiting

Step 1. Give some tips the night before
To convince your parents that your tummy isn't okay, it's best to think ahead and prepare for the day before you plan to "get sick."
- Doesn't take much the night before. When you're sick, eating is the last thing you want to do. So, you already plant the seed to fake the illness the next day.
- Avoid excessive activities. No one is going to believe you woke up badly if you were fed up with the mischief the day before.

Step 2. Prepare a fake vomit
Ideally, do this when you're alone or in a place where you won't be caught. In a bowl, mix a few pieces of bread, oats, water and baby food. Solid foods give that lump in vomit, and water and baby food help give it texture.
If possible, get some food leftovers to put in the fake vomit. Mix different foods with water until you get the right texture. This is a good option as it will create more convincing vomiting

Step 3. Keep the fake vomit hidden in a closed pot
If you are going to use vomit after a few hours, it is important to keep it well hidden. You can keep it under your bed or in a drawer in your bedroom, as long as your parents don't look at these places often.
Close the container tightly to avoid dirt. If possible, use a kitchen pot with a lid or a ziplock bag

Step 4. Use the mixture to simulate vomiting
Start the process a few hours before the event you plan to escape from. Hidden away, take the fake vomit to the bathroom and put it away. Then pretend you're not feeling well and ask permission to go to the bathroom. Obviously, do this when your parents are around. Lock the door and "vomit" for a few hours, making loud noises for a while, followed by a traditional vomiting sound. Then pour the mixture into the vase.
Don't call your parents to see the vomit as this may give away your pretense

Step 5. "Vomit" a few times in the next two hours
Be careful not to overdo it, or your parents may think something is seriously wrong and take you to the doctor. That is, do not vomit more than three times in two hours. That should be enough for you to stay at home without causing too much fuss or worry.

Step 6. Rest when you are at home
Unless your parents go to work and leave you alone, it's important to be careful to keep lying. Show tiredness and exhaustion whenever possible. Don't eat too much either, as this will give the impression that you are getting better. No seeing your friends that day, or your parents will surely find out and discover the truth.
Method 3 of 3: Faking a Fever or a Cold

Step 1. Complain about a headache
Even doctors have a hard time figuring out whether or not someone is faking a headache. Try to act as if you are very sick from the pain, showing tiredness and lethargy. A good way to convince with a headache is to use symptoms commonly associated with migraines, such as eye pain and blurred vision.

Step 2. Pretend sneezing
The purpose of a sneeze is to remove a blockage in the nose, such as the accumulation of mucus caused by a cold. It takes a little acting to fake a sneeze, and you have to be careful not to overdo it. Remember that a good sneeze comes in two parts: it starts with a deep inhalation and ends with a strong exhalation.
- Since the purpose of the sneeze is to dislodge an obstruction, try making a "wet" noise by pursing your lips.
- A good way to simulate sneeze residue is to spit a little in your armpit.

Step 3. Fake a cough
Remember the last cough you had and try to imitate it, being careful not to overact the act. Demonstrate coughing spells from time to time, but try not to create patterns, such as cutting sentences with your cough. Don't cough too hard, you'll be easily discovered.

Step 4. Warm your skin
The first step in faking a fever is getting warmer. Many parents check their forehead temperature when their children start complaining about how bad they are. To cheat this quick test, do the following:
- Use the dryer for a few minutes to warm your forehead. Do this away from your parents so that they cannot hear the noise.
- Dig your face into a pillow and blow warm air through your mouth a few times, warming your face.

Step 5. Fool the thermometer
If your parents are more skeptical, they can use a thermometer to check your temperature. To convince them you have a fever, the accessory must show a temperature above 38°C, and the method you choose will depend on your parents' confidence level. Be careful, however, not to overdo the temperature, or your parents may want to rush to the hospital.
- If you're left alone with the thermometer, rub its sensor between your thumbs until it reaches the right temperature.
- If your parents are around and are using a mouth thermometer, ask permission to go to the bathroom. Rinse your mouth with hot water to increase the temperature in your mouth, being careful not to burn yourself.
Tips
- Don't get caught eating too much, especially sweets.
- If you're faking an illness, don't tell your parents about the test you're going to miss, or they'll notice you're acting.
Notices
- Please note that the above Steps are not guaranteed to be caught. Be prepared to deal with the consequences of your actions.
- If your parents offer medicine, accept it but do not swallow it. Taking medicine without being sick can be harmful.
