After the effort of making gelatine, especially one in a different format, comes the challenge of unmolding it. The base of the gelatin mold forms a vacuum that must be broken to successfully remove the dessert. This article provides two very simple and efficient methods.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: With warm water

Step 1. Fill a bowl with warm water
The bowl should be wider than the gelatin pan.

Step 2. Place the pan in warm water
Be careful not to dip the gelatin!

Step 3. Leave it in the water for just a few seconds
Then remove.

Step 4. Turn the gelatin over
It should keep the shape perfectly.
Method 2 of 2: With Hot Water

Step 1. Fill a bowl with hot water

Step 2. Soak the gelatin pan in hot water three times

Step 3. Place it on a firm surface
Press the gelatin around the edges using your finger. Gently loosen the edges around the entire gelatin.

Step 4. Turn the gelatin pan on a plate
Place your hands on both the base of the dish and the pan. Shake quickly and the jelly should come loose.

Step 5. Finished
Tips
- Rinsing a dish with cold water before adding gelatin may help. When you unmold the gelatin, tilt the plate to center it.
- If you are willing to prepare the pan before adding the gelatin mixture to harden it, you can use an alternative method. This method includes rinsing the pan with cold water and smearing it with oil. Once the gelatin has set, it will not only unmold more easily, it will also become shinier.
