Spending time with friends is really nice. However, doing the same things over and over again is pretty boring. If you're looking for new ways to have fun, this article is for you. Keep reading!
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Strolling Around

Step 1. Visit a park
This tour is great for any age; practice some sport or take the children to play on the toys. This is a really cool way to have fun for free.
- Organize dodgeball, basketball or some other game. If other people ask to play, it's even possible to make more friends.
- When you're really busy, call a friend for a run around the park. Even a physical activity becomes nicer with a friend to share.
- If you have children, make an appointment with some friends to take them to the park. This will make the whole experience more fun. Bring some food and have a picnic!

Step 2. Arrange for lunch or dinner
It can be at a nice restaurant or, if you're short on money, at home. That way you will have the chance to chat while eating or cooking.
- If you are going out, choose a place that is cheap and that everyone likes.
- Eating at home will be cheaper and can be a lot of fun too! Invite friends over for a glass of wine while you cook or, better yet, have them bring some dishes.

Step 3. Go out to that favorite bar
It's really cool when you know all the waiters' names, isn't it? Also, this can be a really nice way to relax and have a quiet conversation.
Set up a meeting every week or every month. Get everyone you can together every first Friday of the month, for example, to catch up. By scheduling in advance, many friends will be free and able to go

Step 4. Volunteer together
It will be very rewarding to have fun and help the planet at the same time! You will feel great about yourself when you do something worthwhile.
- Help a few hours a week at an animal NGO in your city, for example. You will be able to play with the animals and help with whatever is needed.
- Visit nursing homes, nurseries, kennels etc.
- If you can, donate food too…

Step 5. Many cities offer free movie screenings or concerts in the squares
Keep an eye on local newspapers to find out when such an event is to take place.
- Read the regulations and see if it's possible to bring food. Some places only allow you to consume what is purchased there.
- If allowed, bring blankets or beach chairs.

Step 6. Shop at bazaars and thrift stores
Searching for hidden treasures in these locations is a delight! Keep an eye on local newspapers to find out when such an event is to take place.

Step 7. Go camping
So, you can have fun and also get back in touch with nature. You don't even have to go far! Visit a park in your city or camp in the backyard.
However, remember that everyone needs to bring their own things

Step 8. Take part in a race, even if you don't like to race
Another idea is to participate in amateur cycling competitions.
Method 2 of 2: Without leaving the house

Step 1. Set aside an entire weekend to do a movie or sitcom marathon
Between episodes, talk about the direction of the story.
- Have plenty of food available. A few appetizers will make the session even more fun.
- From time to time, stop to stretch or take a walk in the neighborhood.
- Wouldn't it be fun to watch a hideous movie? The same idea can work with a poorly written book. Organize a read-aloud relay and see how far each person can go before they start laughing. You can even turn this into a game! For example, whoever laughs first, drinks a shot or eats chocolate.

Step 2. Reminisce about old times
This will be a lot of fun, especially if you've been friends for a long time. Talk about the things you used to do together in the past. Each person will remember a detail, and you can exchange fun or exciting stories.
Set aside some objects from that time. Look for old notes, photographs, dolls… That way, the moments will be better remembered

Step 3. Games can be fun for adults, teenagers or children
See which type works best for you: playing cards, board games or video games.
- Using a deck is great because most people already have it at home and know how to play something. If playing poker, use chocolate chips instead of cash. In this way, the aim will be just fun..
- Some board game options include Game of Life or Detective. Detective is very easy to learn as well as fun because you start accusing your friends of murder.
- Nowadays, almost all video games allow more than one player to play at the same time.

Step 4. Throw a party
There are many different ways to have a fun party, even if there are few guests. Be creative!
- Turn on the sound, dim the light and go dancing. A funny game is trying to imitate the choreography of a video. If you want, get dressed up and play ballroom dancing.
- Plan a themed party. It could be anything from a murder mystery to English tea. It all depends on your creativity!
- Have a cooking party. And the best? You will be able to eat the delicious results. And, of course, laugh at failures!

Step 5. Visit a museum or art gallery
After the tour, talk about everything you saw. These establishments also offer lectures, film screenings and musical performances. Enjoy!

Step 6. Call friends for a walk in the mall
Even if you don't need to buy anything, just taking a walk and looking at the shop windows will be cool.

Step 7. Make a movie together
Think of a plot, write a script, look for objects to decorate the scenes, and film the story. Try shooting everything the first time or spend time playing edit. Afterwards, they'll have even more fun when they watch the movie.

Step 8. Have a spa day with manicures, facials, hairstyles and makeup
Serve tea, fresh fruit and water with slices of cucumber or lemon. Another idea is to put on some calm music to play and light some scented candles.
Tips
- Remember to be yourself!
- Before doing anything, ask friends what they would like to do.
