If you like using Nutella in a recipe or on toast in the morning, you may need to soften it to remove it from the bottle. You can quickly melt the cream by placing it in a bowl and putting it in the microwave. Or, if you want to melt a large amount, place the jar in a bowl of hot water. If you only need a small amount to spread on the bread, heat a knife or aluminum spoon and use it to get the Nutella from the jar.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Using the microwave

Step 1. Transfer to a bowl with a spoon
Determine how much you want to melt, especially if using for a recipe, and place the Nutella dura in a microwave-safe bowl.
Avoid using a plastic bowl or spoon to stir the cream as they can melt or release chemicals in the food

Step 2. Heat in microwave for 15 seconds
Set the appliance to medium or low power, place the uncovered bowl in the microwave and heat it for 15 seconds.

Step 3. Mix and heat for another 15 seconds
Open the microwave and stir the cream with a wooden or aluminum spoon to melt more evenly and heat for another 15 seconds.

Step 4. Mix and check consistency
Stir the contents of the bowl again to see if it has melted or if it still has thick parts. Continue heating in microwave at 15 second intervals until melted.
Avoid overheating as it may burn or become thick again
Method 2 of 3: Using Hot Water

Step 1. Heat the water
Fill a kettle and turn the heat on high. The water should come to a boil in a few minutes.

Step 2. Transfer the water to a bowl
Take a heat-resistant bowl and carefully transfer the hot water, filling half the dishes. Avoid adding too much water as it can spill down the sides of the bowl when you add the Nutella bottle.

Step 3. Place the bottle in hot water
Remove the cap and place the jar into the bowl of hot water. Don't let the water get on Nutella.
If you want to heat a small amount, transfer some to a small bowl. You can place this bowl of Nutella in a dish with hot water, as long as the water doesn't spill over the sides or into the cream

Step 4. Soften and mix
Leave the cream in hot water for five minutes. Mix with a wooden or aluminum spoon and remove the bottle from the water when the Nutella has melted. If not, leave in hot water until melted.
This is a light way to heat the cream as it won't overcook or overheat it,
Method 3 of 3: Using a Hot Knife or Spoon

Step 1. Heat an aluminum knife or spoon in hot water
If you need to melt or soften just a little Nutella, grab a knife or spoon. Pour hot water into a cup and insert the utensil. Let it sit in the cup for a minute to heat the aluminum.
You can also buy an electric butter spreader. This small knife will heat itself and you can use it to remove and melt a small amount of Nutella

Step 2. Warm the knife or spoon in coffee or tea
Some people always consume coffee or tea with toast and Nutella. To make a shortcut, place the spoon or knife directly into the hot drink and leave for a minute to heat the aluminum.

Step 3. Spread the Nutella until melted
Remove the knife or spoon from the hot liquid. Wipe with a cloth quickly so as not to water the Nutella and take as much of the cream as you want to go where you want. Continue spreading until the utensil's heat melts it.
