Step 1. Open Microsoft Word any way you want
Step 2. Create a new document or open an existing document
Step 3. Select the text you want to cross out
Step 4. Click on the source box on the Home tab
You will need to click on the "double down arrow" to open the rest of the options.
Step 5. Check the "Strikethrough" option in the left part of the Font tab
If you don't have a mouse or it doesn't work, press the "Alt" and "K" keys at the same time
Step 6. Press "Enter" key to save this setting
Your text must be crossed out.
- There is also an option to add one more line by crossing out the word (double strikethrough effect). Hit the "Alt" and "L" keys instead of "Alt" and "K".
- You can also use symbols from the "Insert" tab. Click on it and click on "shapes". Click on the line and cross out the words you want to mark. After that, it will be possible to move the line to other words.
