This article will teach you how to insert an arrow icon into a text document using the "Symbols" menu in Microsoft Word on a computer.
Steps

Step 1. Open the Microsoft Word document on a computer
To do this, find the file and double-click its name or icon.
You can also open the Word application and create a new document

Step 2. Click on the Insert tab
It can be found next to "Home" in the upper left corner of the window. Then the "Insert" item will open in the toolbar.

Step 3. Click on the icon

next to "Symbols".
This option is listed next to the " Ω" blue in the "Insert" toolbar. There you can see a list of all available symbols.
- In some versions, this button may appear labeled as advanced symbols. In this case, click on it to view a list of all symbols that can be entered.

Step 4. Click More Symbols at the bottom of the screen
Then a list of all available symbols will be displayed in a new pop-up window.

Step 5. Click on the arrow icon you want to insert
Find an arrow you like in the "Symbols" window, and click on the icon to select it.

Step 6. Click the Insert button in the upper right corner of the "Symbols" window
Then the arrow icon will be inserted into the document.

Step 7. Click on the Close button beside Insert in the lower right corner.
Then the "Symbols" window will close.
