Method 1 of 2: Ending Calls in the Phone Application
Step 1. Open the Phone app
It is green and has a design of a white telephone (?). You'll find it on the home screen, usually in the Dock at the bottom of the screen.
Step 2. Tap the red "End Call" button
When you finish your call, take the cell phone away from your ear and tap the round red button with a face-down design to hang up.
- If you have exited the app Telephone, tap the green bar at the top of the screen, which indicates that a call is in progress, to return to the app screen Telephone.
Method 2 of 2: Ending Calls on FaceTime
Step 1. Open FaceTime
It is a green app with the design of a white video camera.
Step 2. Tap the red "End Call" button
When you are finished with the call, tap the round red button with a face-down design to hang up. It will be at the bottom of the screen.
- If you are using the headphones that came with your iPhone, squeeze and release the middle of the control to the right of the headphone cord.
- if you left the facetime, tap the green bar at the top of the screen, which indicates there is a call going on, to return to the facetime.
