So you're not completely comfortable with how your face looks in a photo? Photoshop is a tool that gives you an easy way to fix any flaws and make your photos much better. This article will teach you how to improve a person's face in a photo using Photoshop.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Taking the First Steps

Step 1. Buy or download Photoshop
Download it from this link. Photoshop requires a subscription that currently costs $90.00 per month for an individual license. There is a seven-day trial period available. You can also buy Photoshop Elements for a one-time fee of R$372, 45. Photoshop Elements is cheaper, but it doesn't have as many functions as Photoshop.
Alternatively, download and install GIMP. GIMP is an open source image editor similar to Photoshop. It is completely free

Step 2. Open Photoshop
The program has a blue icon with the letters "Ps" in the middle and can be found in the "Start" menu (Windows) or "Applications" folder (Mac).

- click in Open.
- Select the image you want to edit.
- click in Open.

Step 4. Save a copy of the image
When editing an image, it's always a good idea to save a copy of the original file. That way, if you mess up the file, just upload it again. To do so, follow the steps below:
- click in File.
- click in Save as.
- Enter a name for the image next to "File Name".
- click in To save.

Step 5. Duplicate the background layer
Doing so will preserve a copy of the image within the Photoshop file. If you mess it up, just click on the layer in question in the "Layers" panel on the right. Press the " ctrl + Z" (Windows) or " command + Z" (Mac) to undo the last adjustment made. To automatically correct the photo, do the following:
- click in Image in the menu bar at the top of the screen.
- click in automatic tone, automatic contrast or automatic color.
- click in Settings if none of the automatic options offer an adjustment to your liking.
- click in Hue/Saturation, Color balance or Brightness/Contrast.
- Use the sliders to manually adjust the color of the image.

Step 3. Use the "Stamp Tool" to remove stray hairs

If you accidentally select the iris or lashes, click the "Quick Selection" tool icon with the minus sign (-) in the upper left corner, then click and drag over the areas you want to remove from the selection

After selecting the teeth using the "Quick Selection" tool, click on Settings under the menu Image at the top of the screen. Then click on Contrast/Brightness. Drag the slider under Shine to the right to whiten teeth. Be careful not to make them too white, or they may look artificial.
