Adobe Reader DC allows the user to print multiple pages of a PDF document in one sheet, which can be very useful for those who tend to work with many physical files. The downside is that images and text get smaller and harder to read. In any case, you just need to follow the tips in this article to find out more about the subject!
Method 1 of 1: Printing Multiple PDF Pages on One Sheet
Step 1. Open a PDF in Adobe Reader DC
To do this, right click on the PDF file and select ad options Open with and Adobe Reader DC.
- You can also open Adobe Reader DC, click on File (in the menu bar at the top of the screen) and Open and finally, select the PDF.
Step 2. Open the Print menu
Click on the printer icon in the top panel of Adobe Reader DC, or select the "Print" option from the menu File.
- You can also access the menu Print out using the shortcut Ctrl+P (on Windows) or Command+P (on Mac).
Step 3. Adjust the paper size (if necessary)
The larger the print paper, the more legible the images and text will be. If you want to print multiple pages on one sheet, click page setup, in the lower left corner of Adobe. Then select your paper type from the drop-down menu next to "Size". Finally, click on OK when finished.
Step 4. Click Multiple Pages Per Sheet
The button is on the pop-up menu. Page scale.
Step 5. Select the number of PDF pages per sheet
Open the drop-down menu next to "Pages per sheet" and select how many pages you want to print on each sheet. You can choose between two and 16 pages.
If you prefer, click "Custom" and use the fields on the right to enter the number of pages per row and column (such as 3 x 2)
Step 6. Specify the order of pages
Open the drop-down menu next to "Page Order" and select how you want to arrange the pages on the sheet. Adobe offers the following options:
in this mode, pages will appear in rows from left to right.
in this mode, pages will appear in rows from right to left.
in this mode, pages will start at the top left corner of the sheet and appear left to right and top to bottom.
in this mode, pages will start at the top right corner of the sheet and appear from right to left and top to bottom.
Step 7. Print the same page multiple times (optional)
If you want to print the same page several times on the sheet, just click on the "Pages" option under "Pages to print". Then use the field under that option to manually enter the print order, repeating each number separated by a comma (such as 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 2…).
If your printer only prints on one side, you will have to start by printing only the odd-numbered pages. Then reinsert all into the tray face down and print the even-numbered pages
Step 8. Check the option "Print page border" (optional)
If you like, you can check the "Print page border" option to include a solid black line around each page. This helps to better separate the content visually.
Step 9. Adjust the page orientation
Click on "Portrait" or "Landscape". The "Portrait" option prints the pages vertically, while "Landscape" prints them horizontally.
Uncheck "Autorotate Pages" if you don't want them to rotate when switching from "Portrait" to "Landscape" (or vice versa)
Step 10. Check the option "Print on both sides of the paper" (optional)
You can check "Print on both sides of paper" if you want to use both sides of each sheet. This option is only available on duplex printers and when the two-sided printing feature is enabled on the system.
Step 11. Click Print
The button is in the lower right corner of the menu. Print out and PDF printing starts.
