Salmon fillets are versatile dishes and a great choice for lunch or dinner. It is possible to use various types of seasonings and toppings and prepare a delicious and healthy meal. Even a novice to the culinary arts can bake, seal or grill this wonderful fish.


Baked Salmon

  • 4 100 g salmon fillets.
  • 3 tablespoons of Dijon mustard.
  • Salt and pepper.
  • ¼ cup of breadcrumbs.
  • ¼ cup of melted butter.

Method 1 of 3: Baking the Salmon

Step 1. Preheat oven to 200 °C

Light it, select the right temperature and wait. Don't be in a hurry and don't put the fish in too soon! Preheating is essential to ensure the fillets are completely and correctly roasted.

It is important to turn it over to cook it well on both sides. If you like, add a little more seasoning. After enough time, take a fork and skewer the salmon to see if it's done. The filets should take on a lasting color before you take them out of the fire.

Place each of the fillets on a plate and decorate them with a wedge of lemon. Accompany the dish with roasted vegetables or puree to create a more exquisite meal.

Step 1. Sprinkle the salt, lemon pepper and garlic powder in the fish

Start the fire and wait. If the appliance does not have a temperature gauge, place your hand at a distance of 10 cm from the grid. Count how long it takes for the heat to arrive: it should take between six or seven seconds for you to feel a little warmth in your palm. Put a little oil on the surface of the fish to make it easier to turn the fillets.

Did your hand get warm before six seconds? It's a sign that it's too hot and it's better to reduce the fire

Step 5. Grill each side of the fish for eight minutes

Leave the fillets evenly spaced and wait for the right time to turn them over. When you can cut a small piece with your fork, take out the salmon. Does the fish have the skin? Bake it with the skin facing up.
